AutoApply's duplicate protection ensures you never apply twice to the same opportunity, keeping your job search professional.
How It Works
We track every application you submit and check new opportunities against your history. If a match is found, the job is skipped automatically.
Lookback Window
You can configure how far back we check:
- **30 days**: Only recent applications count
- **60 days**: Standard protection
- **90 days**: Extended protection (recommended)
- **Forever**: Never re-apply to the same opportunity
Match Criteria
You can choose what counts as a duplicate:
- **Company only**: Skip any role at a company you've already applied to
- **Company + Title**: Allow different roles at the same company
Imported History
Duplicate protection works with imported application history too. If you import previous applications, they'll be included in duplicate checking.
Overriding Protection
If you want to re-apply to a specific role (perhaps after updating your profile significantly), you can manually remove it from your history or temporarily disable duplicate protection.
